The U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics has released disability employment statistics for May showing that the percentage of people with disabilities in the labor force was 18.1 percent. The percentage of people with no disability in the labor force was 64.1 percent. The May unemployment rate for people with disabilities was 12.9 percent (compared to 15.6 percent a year ago) and 7.7 percent among people with no disability, not seasonally adjusted.
